Stillwater Listening is not therapy and does not involve any diagnosis or clinical evaluation. Think of it as talking with an old friend who listens deeply and without judgment. These sessions focus on empathic listening—your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are held in a safe, attentive space. You decide where the conversation goes.

Sessions are voice-only and secure, so you won’t need to worry about video or your surroundings being visible. The experience is calm and relaxed, allowing you to speak, pause, or simply reflect. Each session is shaped by your needs in the moment—there’s no pressure or agenda.

Sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes, giving enough time for a meaningful conversation without feeling rushed. These are the only two options, so scheduling is simple and predictable.

No special preparation is required. Just find a quiet, comfortable space where you can speak freely. Make sure your device is charged and connected to a stable internet connection. You can bring notes or thoughts if you want, but it’s perfectly fine to come as you are.

Sessions can be booked directly through the website using Squarespace’s scheduling feature. If you need to cancel or reschedule, the system guides you through the process—everything is designed to be simple, low-pressure, and clear.
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your session details and a secure call link using Google Meet. You can join from a computer or mobile device. On iPhones, you may be prompted to download the Google Meet app in order to join the session.

Absolutely. Sessions are completely secure and private, and your conversations are not recorded or shared. The space is designed to let you speak freely without worry—your words stay between you and Stillwater Listening.
